Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buzz is a lovable, easy-going, regal, gentleman and he's a living testament to how BIG and forgiving a canine heart can be! After spending most of his life neglected outdoors, Buzz is diving head-first into making the most of his second chance to find the great home he deserves—tattered, fly-bitten, ears and middle-age aren't gonna hold this bud back!
Buzz is currently in a foster home with a female Shepherd and often invites her to play with a bow. If she doesn't accept, he still gets a big kick out of just tossing his toy in the air by himself. Living indoors and going on walks through a bustling neighborhood is all new to Buzz. He does come across some surprises (bikes!), but it's amazing to watch him learn and gain confidence.
Inside the home, Buzz is very laid back and gentle. He greets just about everyone at the door very calmly with a wagging tail and big soulful "love me!" eyes. Buzz has a bit of that German Shepherd protectiveness in him, so he will alert you if someone approaches the house and will also let you know if any squirrels are getting too close to "his" yard. But he's shown absolutely no aggression whatsoever to people or dogs and let's his foster mom bathe, brush him, clean his ears, etc. with no fuss at all.
Buzz is likely 6-8 years old and is a healthy weight of 80 lbs. His ideal new life will include: lots of affection! And treats! Buzz needs walks, hanging out outside, accompanying you to work, curling up next to you on the sofa and in bed, some toys to toss around. He would be happy living with a female medium/large breed dog, but would also be fine getting all the attention as an only dog. Buzz's new life ideally does not include: cats or small dogs, dog parks (he gets picked on!) or young children (he has no known experience with them).

Adoptions are not done on a first come first serve basis.
