Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Arya is precocious and full of personality with a take charge attitude! She has been like the little sister rough housing with her big brothers; first in a foster home with a golden retriever and Boston terrier, and now in a home with a lab. She is also an avid hiker; already going on 3 mile walks with her new foster dad. When it's time to rest though, her favorite toy is her little crinkle skunk.
She has been microchipped, dewormed, had two rounds of vaccinations, is on heartworm and flea prevention, and will be required to be spayed at 5-6 months old, NO EXCEPTIONS!
We had her DNA tested, and her results show the following:
50% American Pit Bull Terrier
12.5% Labrador Retriever
12.5% Chow
25% Mixed breed groups: Herding, Asian, Guard
Follow her journey and watch her blossom on our facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/LizziesHandHelpingAbandonedNeglectedDogs/
Arya's adoption fee of $250 includes the following:
*spay
*microchip
*deworming
*two rounds of vaccinations
*crate training
*socialization
*heartworm and flea prevention have begun
*DNA testing

The shelter software system requires us to choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of our dogs we are only guessing predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
