My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Casey is being fostered in Durham, NC. You MUST be willing to drive here for pickup at adoption time. We do not ship animals, although we do have someone separate from rescue whom transports for their own fee.



ADOPTION FEE: $400

Casey was a displaced in Texas due to the storms a couple of months ago. He is a male Miniature Poodle-Maltese mix, white, small only about 10-12lbs. He is 1 yr old, fully vetted, heartworm negative and on monthly preventions. This breed is easy to maintain and a very loving guy. Casey is microchipped and has been groomed, so he's handsome and waiting for his forever home.

He is learning to be loved on and be with people again after the trauma these dogs displaced from the storm. He is rather quiet, and very gentle. His name should be LambChop since that 's who he looks like. He's working on house training. If you take him out often he's getting it. If just left in the inside pen, he goes there, but when put in the crate, he does fine there with no accidents. This little guy has many years to give a family unconditional love and laughter.

Our rescue pulled 25 dogs at once from a shelter so these wonderful dogs would not be euthanized. We honestly do not know if they are house/crate trained, or if they are good with kids. We do know they are doing well with all 25 dogs together. And mostly we know they deserve a forever, loving home.
