Hi my name is Rosie and I just love people! I like to give kisses, rest my head in my humans lap, and snuggle on the couch when I am invited. I also LOVE getting scratches all over! I wish I can get them all the time, and sometimes I sneak extras by resting my paw on my humans lap and giving them my best puppy dog eyes- they can’t resist! Ooo I also love to be brushed, it’s almost as good as human scratches and it keeps my scruffy coat looking beautiful!
I am quiet, calm and a bit shy at first but once I get to know you my playful personality comes out! I don’t know what to do with toys, but I love a good doggie playdate! I especially like dogs that let me give them a good sniff before we start playing! When I am all tuckered out and ready to lie down sometimes I’ll let out a big grunt- it always makes my foster people laugh.
The only thing I love as much as making new friends is spending time outside. I love sunbathing in the backyard and walks are the best! There are so many things to see and smell but I always remember my manners! I never pull the leash and I listen to my humans. I needed some encouragement for my first car ride but now I am excited to see where we will go! I even got to go off leash at the beach one time, it was so exciting!
My foster humans always say I am such a good girl! I come when I am called, I whine when I need to go outside and I don’t beg for your food. I love my treats and have already learned to sit and lay down! Maybe you could give me some treats and snuggles? I would love you furever!
