Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meka
Black/Tan Miniature Pinscher
6 years old, 11 lbs.
Docked and cropped
Fully vetted
"Merry Christmas! It's a wonderful day! I'm Meka. I was surrendered with some other Min Pins when one of my owners passed away. Before that, I was in a hoarding situation with lots of dogs so can be a little mistrusting of people at first. I am very independent and do not like being held. I come for pets when I want them and then do my own thing which involves being goofy. I think I will learn to like being held in time though. It was nice when all of us were in m foster mom's lap. I went from being laid-back to a complete ham after I became comfortable in my foster home. I love to bounce everywhere I go and to explore. Riding in cars is amazing as well, but you better watch out. I am convinced I should be able to drive. Can someone explain why my foster mom thinks this is a bad idea? I am house trained to use pads and, more importantly, to go outside. That's where I prefer to go anyway if possible and bounce up at the door to ring the bells there if I really have to go. I will go in a crate for food, but I would rather sleep on the bed with my person. Leash walking is entirely new to me, so for now, a fenced yard is necessary. I get along with cats, dogs both large and small, and people of all ages. I even like the vet! Really, I am the perfect girl! So go ahead and fill out the adoption application, and ask for Meka. I would love to have a home of my own for Christmas."
