My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Honey, she's a Cheweenie and she's almost 4 years old. She's very playful and loves to fetch tennis balls, the smaller ones. She's a complete lover girl and wants nothing more than to snuggle up with you. She gets along well with the three cats in the house and she does well with the other two dogs, though she's more interested in love from people. Honey's family passed away and she needs a new lap to sit on.

Honey is fully vetted with Rabies, DA2PPV and Bordatella vaccinations; a recent negative heartworm and fecal tests; and is spayed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250.

Happy Tails Rescue Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based rescue based in Northwest Indiana. We have no shelter, all of our animals are cared for in loving foster homes until their forever home match is found. All of our animals are fully vetted before adoption, including distemper, rabies, and bordatella vaccines, a heartworm test, fecal test, microchip, and are spayed/neutered. If you're interested in meeting one of our animals please fill out an application first. If approved we will then arrange a meet and greet. Happy Tails does not do same day adoptions because we do a short home visit to make sure our animals are being placed in safe environments.
