Ben is a 1-year-old puggle who is ready to PLAY... just as soon as he gets the cast off off of his leg! Sadly, Ben was found as a stray after being hit by a car. His leg was badly wounded but he's healing up nicely. Ben recently had surgery to repair his broken ankle. He'll need to be on restricted activity through the end of April, but after that he'll be good as new! Ben is a happy-go-lucky boy who loves everyone he meets, furry or not! Each dog in our rescue is in a loving foster home, where they can grow, play, and recover from their time spent on the streets or in a shelter. If you'd like to meet an adoptable dog, please fill out an application on our website (www.EveryDogCountsResce.us), download the file to your computer, then attach it to an email and send to: EveryDogCountsRescue@gmail.com. ONLY APPROVED APPLICANTS WILL BE ALLOWED TO VISIT OUR AVAILABLE DOGS. Every Dog Counts Rescue (EDCR) is a non-profit organization founded to save the lives of dogs in high-kill shelters in the Midwest. Dogs facing death row are pulled from shelters and brought to Indianapolis where they are fostered and receive veterinary care. They are then transported to our rescue partners in areas of the country with less pet over-population, or EDCR searches for loving homes for them locally. EDCR believes that truly every dog counts, regardless of age, breed, injury or disability.
