My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cody. Cody is a 11 year old Sable sheltie and is a bundle of love. He is very friendly and outgoing and loves to meet new people and other pups and always has a smile on his face. He does fine for short walks on the leash and has wonderful house manners. Cody is 35 pounds and he does need to continue to lose some weight and he enjoys being out with his puppy sister Chloe. Cody does like his toys and is not a big barker. Both Cody and Chloe came into rescue together and are a bonded pair that will need to stay together in their new adoption home. If you have a loving home open to a sweet bonder pair, please contact Heart’s Promise Sheltie Rescue.
Both Cody and Chloe will need a secure fenced in yard, NO EXCEPTIONS.

UPDATE.... One of the big issues we have been working on with Chloe is her riding in the CAR. She continues to be beyond TERRIFIED with any travel in the car. This has not gotten any better, even with our continued efforts. For this reason, Cody and Chloe will need to be adopted in a more local area and on the western side of PA or just across the OH line. They are being fostered in the Butler, PA area and we would not want her to have to make a long distance travel as it would be too hard on her.
