Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Miss Tinkerbell!
Tinkerbell the Shih Tzu came to us from Boulder in September 2017. She was picked up by animal control, and although she was micro-chipped, her general appearance was indicative of severe neglect and the decision was made to place her in a rescue.
Tinkerbell was severely matted with terrible teeth when she was picked up, but her sweet personality was so strong that Animal Control called us that night to find a home for her. After a much needed grooming, some vet visits, and a lot of TLC, you wouldn't even recognize her.
She's doing great in her foster home and gets along just fine with dogs (both large and small) and cats alike! All she wants is to make sure she's got the biggest bed in the house, and a spot close to the dinner table where she might snag a bit of cheese quesadilla or pizza.
Tinkerbell is estimated to be around 15 years old. She does exhibit some signs of doggy dementia, which we are working to manage with medication and supplements. She has an eye condition that makes her appear blind, but she can actually see pretty well!
Fill out an application at cksdr.org/adoption-application if you'd like to add Tinkerbell to your family!
