My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Layla is an 7 year old, 10 pound, female schnauzer. She was used for years to produce puppies and then was discarded matted, filthy, covered in fleas, and very malnurished once she could no longer earn her keep.
Due to her background, Layla takes a few days to warm up to new people.
But when you take that time.....
It Is Magic!!
Layla is loyal, fun, goofy, loving. She snuggles onto your shoulder like a baby and dances about your feet. If you like cuddles on the sofa, Layla is your girl. Loving, steadfast devotion, and loyal to the core, Layla just wants to love you, have some kibble, and go out to potty a few times a day.
Layla gets along well with other dogs after the introduction phase. She hates cats and chases them. She needs a slow introduction to any new humans in her life.

Layla has been vaccinated, spayed, teeth cleaned, tested heartworm negative, dewormed, and treated for fleas. She is all ready to find her new home!
