My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bourbon not too long ago found himself in a high kill shelter. Our rescue group took a chance on Bourbon and we are glad we did. While he is in not a perfect dog, he is a great dog that will be amazing in the right forever home. Bourbon is 3 years old and is ready for a forever home to call his own. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered and has a microchip. He is crate trained and knows basic manners. He does not do well with young children but would be fine with teenagers in the home. If he had his way he would be the only dog in the home, but his trainers and him are working on this. Our hope is in the coming weeks he will be able to live with other dogs with no problems. Right now he could share a home with the right dog, only 1, their personalities would have to work well together. He enjoys his daily walks. Bourbon is sweet, affectionate and very loving. We would prefer at this time for potential adopters to be located in the Houston Texas area so all parties could continue to work with his trainers prior to adoption and after the adoption is completed.
