My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable little gal is named Susie Q. She's about 7-8 months old and is what we believe to be a GP mix. Maybe some BC?? She's about 40 pounds right now, not real big and I don't expect her to be over 50 pounds full grown. Susie is good on a leash, can sit on command and is kennel trained and mostly house trained. In her new foster home she's learning the doggy door. Susie briefly went into a home with a cat and she wanted to chase the cat, she can most likely be ok with cats if her new owners were savvy with training and giving both pets time to acclimate to their new surroundings. If you aren't confident in the cat training then your home may not be ideal. She doesn't seem to be a "runner" but a home with a secure fence would be nice, unless of course you have lots of property and want her for a farm dog. Susie has just entered a new foster home in Olympia, WA and is settling in as this is typed. We will try to update with more information on her as we learn her behavior. Susie has an adoption fee of $395 which covers her spay, vaccinations, flea/tick treatment, microchip as well as her transport fee getting her from the rescue in TX to her new foster home.
