My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Darcy looks like a big yorkshire terrier,. He is a sweet dog that was found dumped at a truck stop after Hurricane Harvey. He is approx 2 years old and 35 lbs. He's a good dog, gets along with the other rescues, loves people and will always be at your feet. He loves to play and seems to be pretty well leash and house trained. He also needed an FHO and our orthopedic surgeon performed that and he is doing really well and getting around , running and playing. He did test positive for heart worms and has been treated with the required series of injections and he has also been started on monthly heart guard. We require a home with no children under 10 years of age.

The total adoption cost of $525 includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration . The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. All our dogs are in foster care, there is no physical shelter. Some have not yet arrived in PA.
