Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Leroy, DSH neutered tuxedo (B/W) male, vaccines current, est. DOB 7/1/17
PFC is now charging an adoption fee. 75.00 for a female and 50 for a male. However, our kitties who were vetted before this change are still adoption fee free.
Leroy will only allow pets if the cat he wants to snuggle with is in your lap.
Leroy is the perfect kitty for someone who wants the company without the cuddles. Or needs it because of allergies. He’s an active fun loving boy, who makes strange noises at you to let you know he want’s your attention. A thin built kitty, he gets along great with other cats and is very playful. He would probably do well with a puppy dog and/or playful child.
He’s a sweetheart even if he isn’t a clinger. He is much more interested in communications than he is cuddles. He will allow petting, but please don’t expect him to be a dependent. He seems to be food oriented so if you want him to “follow” you food in your hand works well. He also will want to sleep on the bed with you, but not up close. He likes to walk the same direction, slightly ahead of you and checking back over his shoulder to make sure you are still coming, all the while he’s making his little noise that sounds sorta like a chirp with his mouth closed.
Leroy is sponsored by Partners for Cats. There is no adoption fee to claim him as your own. We always are willing to take donations, but no money is required to adopt one of our kitties. You only need love and the willingness to keep him safe and love him.
You can learn more about Leroy by calling his caregiver Jean at 828-437-8769. He currently resides very near South Mountain State Park, south of Morganton NC.
