Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Beam is an 1 1/2 old American-Bulldog x Border Collie, neutered male who is up to date on his vaccines. Beam was given up when is owner moved away and was not able to take him to the new home.
Beam loves to be home with his humans and will follow you around like your own shadow. When you are not home, Beam has been known to cause a little trouble by getting into things hes not suppose to but as long as there is nothing too low to the ground, he'll just sleep the time away. He loves to go on car rides and absolutely loves walks and visits to the dog park. He is great on or off leash. He gets along great with other dogs but is still a little confused on what cats are, as the first time meeting a cat was at his foster home, and he may have a tendency to chase them to initiate play but has not shown any aggression towards felines. He requires and enjoys a lot of exercise and when on a walk with a leash, he can pull, so he is currently being trained with an easy walk harness. He would love to be in a home with another dog who can keep up with his energy level.
Beam would do very well in an active family but due to his lack of exposure to toddlers and felines mixed with his excitability and his strength, families with children older than 7 and no cats would be a better fit for him.
Beam sensitive stomach has caused a few problems in the past, but now on raw, he is doing fantastic and it is recommended that he continues to stay on a raw diet for his own comfort and well being.
He needs to be walked at least once a day and given a lot of love.
