Retread was transferred from an overcrowded county shelter, where he was taken because he was disrupting traffic. He was given his name because he was laying in the middle of the road, and would get up to let cars pass, but then would go lay back down in the middle of the road again. Despite his large size, when it comes to mealtime, Retread would rather sneak a kiss than dive into his food bowl, unlike so many other dogs. This just shows how much he loves to be with people and how affectionate this big boy is!
