Jess
Jess is a beautiful girl with the classic AKC boxer look (she even has the documents to back it up!). Jess was picked by an older lady to be her companion animal when she was a wee lass (a puppy). She lived happily with her mom and her fur brother until her mom got sick. Her owner was moved to hospice and Jess found herself looking for a new home. Her foster mom had hoped that Jess would be a foster failure but the resident female boxer said that was not an option. Jess can be a little shy when meeting new people, preferring to stay close to those she knows but she warms up quickly to new people and dogs. Jess loves to go on rides in the car. Walking on a leash is a new experience though and she really needs someone that will patiently teach her how that should work. Jess absolutely loves children and patiently tolerates typical small child behaviors (like being loved on when she is eating). She is crate trained and house trained. We would really love to find Jess the perfect home filled with love, patience, and children! If you are the right home for her, please be sure to put Jess on your application!
