Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Boss Man is a beautiful chocolate lab boxer mix. He was picked up as a gorgeous young 8 week old puppy by a wonderful woman in the Denton area, Boss grew up in a home with many other people and dogs and learned to get along with everyone he met. During this time, Boss discovered that he had epilepsy! It was a set back for both him and his owner, but they looked soulfully into each other's eyes and knew they would make it through together. Unfortunately, several months before Boss's second birthday his poor owner learned that she would no longer be able to stay in the house she where she currently resided. Unable to find a place she could afford that would allow her to keep her large dog she took him to the Hickory Creek Animal Shelter. There Boss lived for months. Most people thought he was a nice dog, unfortunately due to his epilepsy he did not get adopted. But, his luck was about to do a 180. Maliko got an email from a friend informing her that Boss was on his last days at the shelter. She got together some funds and picked him up from the wonderful people at Hickory Creek Animal Shelter. So far he's been having an amazing time. He loves all the people that come to visit Maliko. Not only that, but he gets to go on bike rides and runs every day. His obedience is improving by the minute and he adores his foster brother and sister Marty and Lahja. Do you have a place in your home and your heart for the big, friendly chocolate pit named Boss Man?
Boss is a special needs dog. When he was about a year old he began having seizures. Boss is on medication to control his seizures, but may need to be on them for the rest of his life. Other than that he leads a normal happy life where he gets to go on bike rides, run and play in the park and pal around with Marty and Lahja. Do you have a place in your home and your heart for the big, friendly, chocolate pit named Boss Man?
