My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sheba is a very sweet 8 year old German Shepherd. Her owner died, and she went to live with relatives. There, she accidentally scratched one of the children while playing. She was brought in to the shelter and the shelter was told to put her down!

Given her wonderful personality, the shelter refused.

Sheba is up to date on shots. She has been wormed and spayed. She is chipped, and is heartworm negative.

Sheba loves to fetch a ball or simply sit next to someone with her head on their leg. She is housetrained, and runs to the door when she needs to go out.
Sheba was introduced to many dogs. She did well until she got too excited and knocked one over. That started a fight. For that reason, it may be best to have only one other dog or none.

Right now, she is living in a foster home in Sparta, NJ.

An application will have to be completed before meeting her. The home check can be done on the day of adoption or before. Reference and vet checks are part of the adoption process. Her adoption fee is $175.
