Roscoe says: do I really look like a threat to anything or anyone? I'm lovable, gentle and only want to be with my humans, get in the yard to romp and play with other dogs and the kids. I walk pretty well on a leash and I'm not reactive to other dogs as you and I spend time together taking a stroll. Won't you please open your heart and home to give me a forever home? I'll love you unconditionally, never destroy anything, I'm very quiet, you hardly know I'm there.

Male, American Pit Bull Terrier, Mix, just 5 yrs old and about 65 lbs. Roscoe came to us with heartworms, but has been treated and now heartworm free. He is house/crate trained. LOVES kids, we suggest 8 & older. Does well with other dogs, although we don't recommend small dogs due to his size and strength. NO cats for this boy.

Roscoe is not destructive in the home and can be left unattended for several hours with no problems. He will ride in the car, but much prefers a nice long walk and exercise.

He is up to date on all his vaccines, neutered, rabies, microchipped and on monthly preventatives. He also knows numerous commands. Highly intelligent and eager to please his master. He does love to play, but when family is gathered around for movie time with the kiddos, he settles down and is part of the family.
