Here's what the humans have to say about me:
PLAYFUL, PERKY, PAWESOME POOCHY IS WAITING TO PARTNER WITH YOU!
EMAIL dana@soidog.org for more information.
My name is Poochy and I am living in Ontario, Canada. I am a gorgeous girl with a fluffy coat and big brown eyes. I am affectionate, curious and can’t wait to find a forever family of my own as I have a heart filled with love which I’m looking forward to sharing with them.
I used to live in a shelter in Northern Thailand with lots of survivors of the dog meat trade and vulnerable street dogs. No one is totally sure of my background but they all LOVE my bubbly nature and loving personality. I was transported down to Soi Dog Foundation’s shelter in Phuket where I was chosen by a partner rescue in Canada to travel to Ontario. I am living with a lovely foster family at the moment but am hoping to find my forever family soon.
My foster mom says that I am really good with everyone. I am funny and endearing, the things that usually scare shelter dogs don’t seem to bother me at all – vacuum cleaners, door bells, traffic and lots of other things.
I walk really well and don’t react when we pass strange dogs or squirrels. My energy level is moderate. I am quick to adjust and learn, and although I’ve never lived with another dog, with your time and support I should get along fine with other dogs in the home. I did get along well with other dogs in my run at the shelter. After playing outside for a little while and going on a walk, I’m relatively calm in the house. I listen very well and stop immediately if my foster mom tells me to stop chewing things or showing an interest in the cats – this is natural puppy behaviour as I am still under the age of 2
I'm a well-adjusted dog who is ready to start her new life. Please EMAIL dana@soidog.org today to find out how to adopt me. I can’t wait to meet YOU!
