My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chance was eating our outside cat food and we thought it was raccoons! I walked out one morning and he was just hanging out on the porch like he owned the place. I asked if he was ok and he stood up and walked over. He had demodex mange, had worms, fleas, heartworms and was VERY skinny. He was asking for help! So I got him neutered, dewormed, fully vaccinated, his mange taken care of and more. He is light heartworm positive with only adults showing so he is on slow kill right now and is paid up on meds til 4/2018. Chance is NOT good with cats and needs a home with a fenced in yard. He does well with small dogs but not "alpha" type large dogs as he will not back down if they get in his face. His adoption fee is $75. He is very friendly and funny. He gets along with others and takes snacks gently but should be fed separate to avoid the "growlies" when approached by other critters while eating. He is house trained! He is a wonderful dog and prefers to be inside with his people but likes to be outside on cooler days for longer periods than just potty. He likes to give kisses and is an EXCELLENT hugger. All potential adopters will have to apply via an application. We do vet reference checks. We will transport up to 3 hrs from Gulfport MS for approved adopters.
