My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tyler is a 7 year old handsome boy who is looking for a patient forever home who will love him for his wonderful personality without asking too much in return from him until he’s comfortable. He likes to “talk” to his people, he is great company and he likes to be around people, he just doesn’t like being petted or touched much until he trusts someone completely. For this reason, he won’t be adopted into a home with small children. His foster home is working with him to slowly build up to more handling and his forever home will have to commit to continue that training. Fortunately, he is very food motivated and treats go a long way with him. Tyler lost most of his teeth when he had his dental but his mouth feels much better and he is able to eat everything given to him. Tyler is great on a leash, he loves to take walks and this is a great bonding activity for him and his human. Tyler came into rescue with Izzy and they have been together most of their lives. They get along well with each other and it would be nice if they could be adopted together but it isn’t absolutely necessary as they don’t seem to rely on each other much. Tyler is housetrained and has been very reliable as long as he is taken out on a regular basis.
