Jager was surrendered to our Humane Society for adoption when his owner could no longer keep him due to moving. He is 5 years old, and is a happy, active and friendly dog. His owner told us that he loves kids of all ages, and he enjoyed playing with children in his previous home. Jager is used to being an only pet, and we will be testing him around other dogs here at our shelter to see if he will be accepting of a new canine buddy.

Jager is playful and has a lot of energy to burn each day. He enjoys playing fetch outdoors in our fenced yard and going for leash walks with our staff and volunteers on our dog trail in the woods on our property. He will need an active person/familly that will be able to take him for long walks or have a fenced yard outdoors for exercise everyday. He is used to wearing a harness for walking, and is housetrained. He also knows some basic commands - sit, lay down, shake and sit pretty.

Jager is already neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and tested negative for heartworm and lyme disease. He is ready to be adopted into a new home, so please contact us or stop by and ask to meet him in person if you are interested in adopting him.
