Sydney and Amber are a very sweet mother and daughter who are looking for their forever home. They were part of a large group taken to a local shelter because the previous owners did not separate the males from the females and quickly experienced a population explosion. Sydney is about a year old (maybe a little less) and is short haired and brown and white. She is an excellent mom and she dotes on her daughter. Amber, who is never far from her mother’s side, is a reddish brown Agouti and is about 4 months old. She is curious and energetic. Sydney will sit on your lap as long as you will hold her and she stares lovingly into your eyes while she is being pet. Amber is a bit more rambunctious but is settling down and learning to relax when she is held.
Sydney and Amber have an excellent appetite and enjoy fresh vegetables, piles of hay and Oxbow pellets every day (Amber needs Young Adult pellets for the first six months.) The pair will need to live in a Rescue-required Cubes and Coroplast cage of at least 2 cubes by 4 cubes. The cage must be located in a part of the house the family spends time in so everyone can enjoy their company. We also ask that anyone adopting them lives a reasonable driving distance from Rockville, MD.
The adoption fee for Sydney and Amber will be $70 as they are both intact females.
