My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hobart was adopted by a young couple back in January of 2011. He was a wonderful dog for them in their original environment which was quiet, secluded with no children other than their own around. They later moved to a new neighborhood with a whole lot of children. Hobart has a very protective gene in his makeup and was devoted to his family. A confrontation with neighbors put the situation in an unbalanced state and they ended up surrendering him back to us after 6 years with them. He is one of the most intelligent and wonderful dogs we’ve had the pleasure of dealing with. He is right around 8 years old but you’d never know it to hang out with him. He plays well with all the dogs in the yard, having a tendency to go his own way to peruse the grounds but will play with some of the smaller dogs that he likes. He is a loving, devoted, intelligent dog that needs someone to love him and appreciate his many qualities. He weighs 40 pounds and is heartworm negative, up to date on all shots, neutered, microchipped, crate and leash trained.
