My story

Oh Hi!

My name is Stella. I was found wandering a golf course by a good Samaritan who scooped me up and contacted ABRO. We waited for my family to come find me but they never did. I'm really not sure why. I'm a sweet, quiet, well behaved girl.. I'm estimated to be 5-6 years old but I'm 'wise for my years', whatever that means. My ideal day would be sleeping in, a stroll around the neighbourhood when I roll out of bed, a good hearty breakfast, followed by a nap. I'm kind of indifferent towards other dogs. I've lived with males and females, I don't really like hyper, bouncy ones but I put up with it. I just have to remind them to simmer down sometimes. Cats are cool too, I've met a few. One of my all time favourite things is kids. When it's bed time, I like to sleep with the little person in my foster home. He says I hog the bed but also keep him warm, so it works well! Foster momma says I like to follow her around, cuddle on the couch being pet, and give lots of kisses!!

In the house, I'm a very clean girl. I'm okay about being in my crate.. infact, sometimes it's the place I like to snooze. I also like being pampered and riding shot gun in the car!!

I recently had bloodwork done and was diagnosed with having hypothyroidism. I have to take a pill every day for the rest of my life. The cost is around $36/month. This explains why my hair coat is so thin.. so within the next 4-6 weeks, I'll start to grow back to my beautiful coat!
