My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sogo is a neutered male approximately 11 -12 months old Lab and Shepherd dog mix. He has a beautiful soft coat. Sogo is tall, handsome and very well behave. Sogo currently is about 55 lbs.

Sogo was an abused and abandon dog rescued from Taiwan. He was still a very small puppy when we found him. there were scars and fresh wounds all over him. He was malnutrition and emaciated. We had him for about 8 months and now he is a healthy. goofy and clumsy puppy.

Sogo's personality is shy and reserve at first and needs a couple of days to warm up. Once he warms up, he is very cuddly, loving and a big baby. Sogo is good with people, cats and dogs. He is a bit afraid of Toddlers and young children. He is NOT aggressive at all but when young kids get all over him, he doesn't like it. Sogo is playful and loves loves to play with other dogs. He is very smart, is a quck learner and can sense danger or threats. Since he is still very young, he does need lots of walks and excise.

Sogo is part German Shepherd which has very strong built-in protective, alert and territorial sense. Because of the internal traits of German Shepherd, we would like the new owner to continue training Sogo. He needs physical and mental stimulation so he doesn't get bored.

Sogo is neutered, microchipped and has all up-to-date shoots, blood tests and passed quarantine. Sogo is leash trained, doesn't chew, doesn't dig. Sogo does bark when he feels threat or being threaten. He is loyal and a great companion.

Sogo is with A TICKET TO HAPPINESS rescue. If you are interested in Sogo, please call or text Lin at (949) 331-6299 or email LinShen98@yahoo.com

A Ticket To Happiness adoption procedure:
We do require an application. Our process is that after you filled out our application questionnaire, we can schedule a day for you to come to our volunteer's home and meet with Sogo. And feel free to bring anyone with you. After meeting Sogo, if you like him and if we think you could be a good fit for him, Then you can start a trial adoption. Trial adoption means that we can take Sogo over to your home and leave him with you for a few days to two weeks (we prefer not to go beyond two weeks). During the trial adoption period, at anytime, you can return him to us (no questions ask). Only when you know for sure that you'd like to adopt Sogo officially, then you will then need to sign an adoption agreement and pay for the adoption fee of $150. So prior to the official adoption, you don't need to pay the adoption fee. Thank you for opening up your heart and your home to a rescued dog.

Disclaimer:
We thank you for your interest in potentially adoption/rescuing Sogo. All of our rescued dogs are in foster family's homes, we do not have a facility or kennels. We want to make sure our foster families and volunteers are safe (most likely you will be going to one of their homes to visit the dogs). That's why we asked for the application. We can provide all of the documentations you need to ensure you that we are a legit rescue. We want the best and the safest for the potential adopters, our volunteers and our dogs. Please note that we do not ask for any money at all upfront.

Adoption Application:
Questionnaire, application and contracts are required. Here is a link to our questionnaire.
