Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.
Maggy was displaced (with her brother Wallie) from her home during Hurricane Harvey and then just as they were getting to return home, their precious mom (a beloved fellow doxie rescuer) unexpectedly passed away. It has been a confusing road for this sweet girl, but she is excited to find her new forever family.
Maggy is a happy girl with a spoonfull of sassyness. She is a little shy at first, but soon she is very affectionate and just loves to be petted and loved on and to cuddle in laps and get belly rubs. She can be very flirty!!! Blankets to roll around in are also one of her favorite things....she demands warm fluffyness. She gets along with other dogs but will need a home with no cats or pocket pets. Maggy has learned to use the doggie door and LOVES spending time outside chasing off birds, possums, squirrels, lizards and or any other varment attempting an invasion. She may have arrived a tad 'full figured' but hours of yard patrol have sculpted her into a petite and dainty, yet athletic little huntress. She is a very good and obedient girl when asked to get in her crate and behaves very nicely in it. Maggy would love to go to a home with her brother Wallie but would be ok individually as well. Maggy prefers a home with no children and requires a yard with a wooden fence.
Please consider opening your heart and home to Maggy...and her brother Wallie, hopefully...by submitting an adoption application. You'd find no better best friend(s) or companion(s).
