Meet Roxanne in RI! Roxanne was rescued from a high kill shelter in Kentucky. She is an owner surrender, is around 3 years old and looks to be an Aussie/Border Collie mix. She has a beautiful red coat with some white on her chest and feet. She is about 32 lbs so on the smaller side. Roxanne is a very smart dog and learns quickly. She is medium energy and is such a happy dog. She is great with other dogs and is fine with my cat. She equally enjoys being with people and will hang out with you either in the kitchen, living room or office. Roxanne enjoys walks and does excellent with a gentle leader. She is always checking out the scenery on walks and is fascinated by squirrels and sometimes will bark at them.

Her ideal home would be an individual, couple, or family that is active (she'd probably be a good running partner) who enjoys daily walks, maybe someone that is able to take her to work with them. I say this because she is very easy going and would hang out with everyone. She does enjoy the company of another dog but this is not required. A 6 foot fenced yard would be required because I think she has the capability of jumping any fence under 6 foot. Roxanne may be a good candidate for agility training. She is very loving, affectionate, likes to gives kisses and is always upbeat. She is just an easy going happy dog looking for her forever home.
