My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Party Marty is very small, older, fun-loving Chihuahua who is great with kids, cats, and other dogs. This little guy is ultra sweet and playful and loves to be held and cuddle. He is rapidly improving on his house training as a large testicle that our vet removed put constant pressure on his bladder.

Party Marty is fully vetted with Rabies, DA2PPV and Bordatella vaccinations; a recent negative heartworm and fecal tests; and is neutered and microchipped. He is kept on monthly heartworm preventative. His adoption fee is $250.

Happy Tails Rescue Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based rescue based in Northwest Indiana. We have no shelter, all of our animals are cared for in loving foster homes until their forever home match is found. All of our animals are fully vetted before adoption, including distemper, rabies, and bordatella vaccines, a heartworm test, fecal test, microchip, and are spayed/neutered. If you're interested in meeting one of our animals please fill out an application first. If approved we will then arrange a meet and greet. Happy Tails does not do same day adoptions because we do a short home visit to make sure our animals are being placed in safe environments.
