My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet our adorable one-eyed Jack! This spunky and sweet little Papillon/Cavalier mix causes everyone to stop and “awww.”. Jack has been through a bit of a rough patch and is ready to move on to bigger and better things! He was found wandering with a severe eye injury and was taken to the Veterinary hospital for eye removal surgery. After spending just moments with this sweetheart, it was apparent that Jack was meant to join us at The Pet Rescue Center. He has healed up like a champ and is ready for his forever home! Jack loves to go on walks and is happy when snuggled up on your lap. He has basic house training and only falters if left for long periods of time. If you are looking for a pup who loves to play and cuddle, Jack is looking for you! Please contact The Pet Rescue Center and ask to spend time with this delightful little dog!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to save the lives of dogs and cats at risk of euthanasia. The Pet Rescue Center is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
