My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kovu is a beautiful 4 yr old shepherd mix. A very sweet, gentle, smart and loving dog his purpose in life is to love and be loved. In fact, he brings so much love that it will make you forget about all the worries in the world. Kovu is super friendly to all people he meets, he is good with kids and he gets along with other dogs. Cats... he is very interested in cats, not sure if it's a good or a bad thing. He's an easy dog, he doesn't require much exercise, he'll be fine with nice slow walks. He is strong but very gentle, and naturally calm. It doesn't mean he doesn't like to play, he still plays like a puppy just not all day long! He is very comforting and more than happy to lay on the couch beside you while you're watching a movie, or reading your favorite book. Kovu has all the qualities of becoming a service dog, and has had a lot of training already, but he has some health issues, that keep him from becoming a service dog. Nothing serious to worry about, the veterinary specialists said he was born this way and he's not in pain. His hips can get stiff. There are days when he is fine, and there are days when he would prefer to sleep more. That is the reason why we are looking for a loving family for this wonderful creature, who would care for him dearly.
