Hambone is currently located in TEXAS and he is willing to move north for a good loving forever home.

Hambone and his brother were little puppies found dumped out in a field. A DNA test for the boys indicate that they are Blue Heeler/American Staffordshire Terrier mixes. Hambone is a good boy. His brother has been adopted, but Hambone still needs a home.

Hambone is the larger sibling. Hambone is growing up to be a a heavy, compact and chunky boy, going on 60 pounds. I call him my little Hippo. He is tricolor - black, red and white; with blue merle on his chest and red merle on his feet. Hambone has been in rescue since 6 weeks of age, and he has known nothing but love. He is a sweet, cuddly, playful and gentle puppy. He loves to play with toys, other dogs and in the wading pool. Hambone is happy and healthy. He is crate trained, house trained, and fairly well behaved in the house. But he is still a puppy that will need further training and socialization. We want Hambone to be an indoor dog and a loved member of the family. He would like a secure fenced yard to run and play.

Hambone is 7 months old.. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He has been started on heartworm and flea preventative. Hambone has a $400.00 adoption fee which includes ground transport via Rescue Road Trips for pickup in Washington or New Stanton PA.
