Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this little man. He is true to his breed as being loving and dedicated to his human family. He only wants to be near you… Why he was dumped in the country is beyond me. He gets along with all size dogs and gender is no issue. Even with the dominant ones in rescue he takes them with stride and moves along with his own business. He plays well, loves humans, plays a little fetch, house trained, sleeps beside the bed only because there isn't room for him on the human bed. This boy will be the best addition to any family. He needs a little training as he does like to jump on you to give and receive hugs so maybe better with older kids. He is meant to be an indoor dog and loved as part of the family. If you can provide this kind of home for him please apply
One more thing - he can climb 5' chain link fences but it's only because he wants to be with you. We are working with crate training.
Mr Pibb is 1 year (Aug 2017), 42 pounds and he is: Good with Dogs, Good with Kids, Good with Adults, Somewhat vocal, Does Good in the Car, Plays fetch, Likes to play with toys, Obedient, Affectionate, Eager To Please, Intelligent, Gentle, Goofy
Please note that we are a TX based rescue so all of our dogs are located in TX. We work with Rescue Roadtrips to transport our dogs to their new forever homes upon approval of adoption application. The reason we do this is because TX is a high-kill state due to it being over populated with unwanted dogs, but wonderful dogs, and finding homes in other states helps us to save more lives. Our adoption fee for the NE is $355 ($170 adoption and $185 transportation). You can find our application at www.krrtx.org/forms.
