My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Eli is a 3 year old neutered male. He is vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. He is very calm and gets along well with other dogs. He has a loud bark but he does not bark very much and not at all in the house. He is not overly affectionate, but he does like to be close to people. He would probably do okay as an only dog, but would benefit from someone who is home more often to keep him company. He doesn't seem to have a large interest in toys, but he does enjoy countersurfing and trying to get in the garbage can and assorted other Beagle mischief. Because he takes some time to open up, we would prefer Eli go to a home with older children or no children.  He needs a family that is patient and willing to work with him and let him warm up to them. :)
