Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Courtesy post
Troy is a very lean, athletic dog. He may put on a few pounds if he gets a home of his own. He currently has Mass cell cancer on his front leg, but it doesn't slow him down at all and it doesn't seem to be growing very aggressively. It might be able to be removed fairly easily, and he does not require any medication at this point.
He has gotten so much better since being taken in by his foster mom, and he is so full of life. I hope there is someone out there who will give him a chance! He has been through a lot in his previous life, and he deserves so much better! He is really a beautiful blue and has a good attitude, too!
I would love to see him not have to die in boarding. He is currently has never had a real home. His previous owner was a criminal who was living in his car. When the owner was finally arrested and convicted, his relatives were going to put Troy down, and they didn't even know he had cancer! They just didn't want him!
Troy would would be fine with older kids and maybe another big dog with a slow introduction. He's good with some of the other dogs at the boarding facilty, but definitely, slow intros are a must!
Troy is eight years young, neutered, and up to date on his shots.
He loves to run around with his Jolly ball, which is one of his favorite activities. He likes car rides, but he especially loves to run and play and go for walks!
Troy is waiting for the loving home he has never had!!!
