We have had our beloved Shasta, a Husky/White German Shepard mix, since she was just a pup, adopting her when we lived in Texas at 9 weeks old. We have been her only owners, and she’s grown up with our other, Mini-Husky (Alaskan Klee-Kai) who is just 12 lbs. Shasta is an extremely loyal, and loving dog with no known health issues. She is spayed, has been on flea/heartworm meds her entire life and has a current rabies vaccination. She is leash trained, house broken and crate trained.
Though Shasta is extremely loving towards her “pack” she does have some quirks. Recently we welcomed our first baby into the home, and the transition has not been smooth. She is a very shy, and somewhat fearful dog towards strangers (especially men) and some breeds of dogs. She does show signs of fear aggression and high prey drive when around younger, small children, which is why we’ve made the impossible decision to find her a new, loving home.
