My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Freddie…
An unusual name for a german shepherd. But as a owner surrender to the shelter, that was his name from a pup, so it shall be. Freddie is approx 4yrs old, neutered, UTD in vaccinations and chipped. In coming to the shelter he got sick… not once, but twice. So he lost weight. But due to the way he was bred, and then confined in a kennel while at the shelter, he now needs a lot of TLC.
Freddie needs to put on weight… but the weight needs to be in the form of muscle for his hind end. And proper exercise. Walking on concrete, grass, thru sand, or snow drifts, up slight inclines. Going for a couple miles walk on a trail won’t do it. His feet and upper thighs need to develop good muscle to give him comfort. So we probably will say he is a special needs guy that needs a home willing to put in the time to help him achieve a better quality of life. We have done this before. There is Moose, now 14yrs, Ruger, now 3yrs just to name a few. With a dedicated family, Freddie will improve and have a great life. Right now, we feel, no cats, no children, and if another dog, a nice middle aged female is recommended. He is a little shy at first with stranger and unsure, yet with a gentle introduction, he will warm up nicely. When we went to take his picture, as you can see.. he thought we were going to steal his soul.hahaha.
Fill out an application and come meet Freedie…… this is a dog that will help make memories in your life.
