Caramel and Curry are an adorable pair of young sisters who would be thrilled to be part of your family. The girls were born in mid-April and were part of a group of 11 guinea pigs taken to a local shelter. The previous owners did not separate the males from the females and quickly experienced a population explosion. The group included six babies. Caramel and Curry are both light and dark brown but Caramel has a white stripe on top of her head. Like most babies, the girls are quite energetic and curious and are not yet ready to sit still for very long!
Caramel and Curry have an excellent appetite and enjoy fresh vegetables, piles of hay and Oxbow pellets every day (They will need Young Adult pellets for the first six months.) The pair will need to live in a Rescue-required Cubes and Coroplast cage of at least 2 cubes by 4 cubes. The cage must be located in a part of the house the family spends time in so everyone can enjoy their company. We also ask that anyone adopting them lives a reasonable driving distance from Rockville, MD.
The adoption fee for Caramel and Curry will be $70 as they are both intact females. If you are interested in finding out more about adopting this sweet pair of guinea pigs, please send an e-mail to guineapigs@smallangelsrescue.org.
