Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet “Gentle” Ben. He is one of the most gentle fellows you will meet, thus the name Ben. Ben is a happy ~ 3 yr old and weighs in at about 52lb. The only time he is not smiling is when he is sleeping! We are guessing he is a Golden /Shep X. He is great with other dogs - especially the annoying puppy at his foster Mom’s house. He is just amazing with her. Ben loves his humans and just wants to be loved on. He will lay at their feet or just follow them around in the yard. He does like to run and play with the other dogs but we do not consider him high energy – he is pretty laid back. Ben listens very well – he knows sit and comes when he is called. We just can’t say enough about this guy. Ben will make the perfect addition to a quiet adult only home or those with older teen children. Ben just made it out of Texas before Harvey hit. Ben was abandoned in S. Texas. When he was picked up he weighed a mere 41lbs and was HW + and had a look of despair on his face. Thanks to a wonderful group in Texas, he is happy and healthy and smiling again. He has made an amazing transformation. Thanks to The June Project who took Ben under their wings in Texas – he so deserved to be saved – you can see it in his eyes! We are so happy to have Ben in our rescue – he is a love. He truly deserves a furever home of his own.
Ben is neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Ben’s Adoption fee is $450. For more information or an application email SHERRYL825@cox.net .
