My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our hours are by appointment only. If you are a good match, we will contact you, typically within 72 hours. YOU WILL HEAR FROM US ONLY IF WE FIND YOU TO BE A GOOD MATCH FOR ONE OF OUR RESCUE ANIMALS AND OUR ADOPTION GUIDELINES/PROGRAM. We must review a completed application before an appointment is arranged. No exceptions. All visits with the rescue animals are by approved applications and appointments only.

P.J. is an extraordinarily affectionate cat who can barely stay still when you are fussing her because she loves it so much. She lives for human companionship and attention, always rushing to the door when you come home, following you everywhere, ready to get on your lap at all times. If you enjoy cat kisses/licks then P.J. will fulfill that need in spades.

P.J. is about 3 years old, spayed, vaccinated, great with litter box use, eats anything and is used to living with other cats. She would be happy as the only cat or share with one or two other cats who are not submissive.

P.J. has been dog tested and simply ignored them.

Her name, P.J. is short for Pallet Jack, the name she was given by the person who rescued her in a warehouse just before she got crushed by a pallet jack. She is just as adventurous now, very active and curious.

If you would like to adopt P.J., please visit our website and apply today!

PLEASE NOTE: The information contained within this biography is based on observations from the current foster home. In no way can we predict future behavior and or temperament as individual household dynamics vary greatly, and are impacted by the experience and leadership of those within the home.

Please fill out an application to meet me at http://www.washingtongsd.org/application.html

The adoption process includes completion of an adoption application, a vet check, a home visit and a lifetime adoption contract.

Adoptions are not done on a first come first serve basis. Washington German Shepherd Rescue is the companion animal's advocate and will select the most suitably matched home for the dog's general needs and the unique needs of each individual dog in our care. We reserve the right to refuse service and adoption without explanation.
