My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approximate DOB is May 2017.

Dalton loves to play. He doesn't mind playing with other kitties or by himself- he is happy either way. Dalton likes attention and will let you pick him up for a few minutes before wiggling free. If he really wants your attention, he will give you a gentle bump with his head so you can pet him. Dalton is known for jumping into a spot before you sit down so he can get some pets and love. Dalton is quick to jump on the bed at bedtime, make some blanket biscuits, and settle in to sleep close to you. Is Dalton the cat for you? Dalton does require a prescription food for his meals.

To fill out an application please email us at PurRescue@yahoo.com.
All cats are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, testing for FeLV/FIV, fecal and age appropriate shots. The adoption fee is $100 which helps to offset some of our vetting costs.

More about this rescue

PurRescue was founded in July of 2017 by rescuers who have been fostering since 2007 for other organizations. We are a small group that primarily rescues cats and finds them fur-ever homes with deserving families. Occasionally we also rescue dogs in need. We engage in TNR, Trap-Neuter-Return of community cats in order to reduce the population of unwanted cats.
