Meet Julie in RI! Julie was found in Kentucky roaming the streets with another dog so was brought into a high kill shelter where we rescued her.

Julie is extremely sweet and has gorgeous markings, a combination of brown black, red, gray and tan markings. She looks to be a blue tick/red tick coonhound mix. The vet estimates her age to be approximately 2 years old. She is really good with my other dogs and seems to have taken a liking to my little dog who is about 10 lbs. She is very submissive so seems to feels more comfortable with a smaller dog to play with vs a dog her size or larger. She is great with teenage children, very gentle. She is a bit scared around men so working on this and is making progress every day. She is house trained and has already mastered the doggy door. She is also good on leash walks.

Her ideal home would be a family that has a flexible schedule so she doesn't have alot of alone time, where the environment is calmer because she gets easily spooked so an all adult family or a family with older children would work.
