This sweet old gal found herself in animal control after her owner passed away. She have been very depressed and was not doing well in the stressful environment of animal control. OBBR's supporters hopped into action to spring this girl and get her settled back into a home. Her mood has improved but Lucy is still desperately seeking her forever home. We know opening your heart to a senior seems like a difficult thing to do, but seniors can be the best choice of dogs. They have gotten their yaya's out, they are house trained and have typically settled into how life works in the home. Lucy is a love bug. She gets along with the other dogs in her house and loves her time getting some love from her humans. She walks well on a leash and loves the little humans that visit her home. It may seem like your heart will break sooner with a senior, but we really never know how long we have with any dog. Right? Would you consider earning your angel wings by adopting a senior girl?
