Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Our best guess is that Hayley is a Rat Terrier Chihuahua mix. She is almost four months old and weighs six pounds; she should be less than or about 10 pounds fully grown.
She is a true puppy, playful, sweet, and loving, but Hayley needs someone experienced with house training who will not get impatient with the process. She is learning to use training pads, but most days it is "miss" vs. "hit". Her ideal adopter would be someone home during the day who could work with her and take her outside frequently.
Because of her size, she will not be adopted to homes with children under the age of eight, or anyone with dogs larger than 20 pounds. She is fostered with other small dogs and cats.
Applicants must live within three hours of Blacksburg, VA. Preference will be given to adopters with fenced in yards, and who have at most no more than two other small dogs.
If you are interested in adopting Hayley, please submit an application. Only applicants contacted after submitting an application will be under consideration; submitting an application does not guarantee adoption. Her adoption fee is $275.
