UPDATED BIO 01/14/09: Hi everypuppy! Sofi here! In case you forgot, I am 7 years old and weigh 4.1 lbs. I'm being fostered in Miami, FL.I've been hanging around FM's house trying to get better. In all honestly, I am B-O-R-E-D! I am trying so hard to be a big girl and wait it out, but I just want to feel better NOW! Sigh... I have some bad news to report. I have these pins in my widdle leg helping to keep my fractured bone together. Well, since my bones are teeny (like me!) two of the pins broke. Luckily, my leg doesn't look re-fractured, but I had to go back into surgery last week to replace the pins.....it left me kinda sad since I just wanna get better and go live with my new family. Can you help me get better? I'm costing UYR a bunch of money (along with my foster brother Coby) and FM says I'm gonna have to get a job! Please don't make me get a job!
ORIGINAL BIO 11/26/2008: Hello there! My name is Sofi - I am 10 years young and weigh 4.1#. (Foster Mom weighed me on a postal scale!). I was rescued today by UYR just in the nick of time. You see, somehow I lost my home and was found wandering all by my wee little self. FM rescued me at the shelter and told me I'd have a MUCH better chance of finding a FURever home if my picture and story was on a website where people looking for yorkies could see me!
Well, it's no secret..... I can't hide it..... I'm not a young whipper-snapper like some of the other dogs in foster care with UYR. I'm 10 years old; and I need a dental and might lose a few toofers. Also, my front left paw is hurt and I'm limping a bit. FM is going to have it looked at ASAP. However, FM says I'm in good shape for a senior. I was even playing with my foster fur-brother today! I am a sweet little girl who wants nothing more than to curl up on your lap.....I even give kisses. I also like to sleep, which is a good thing for some folks who work a lot. I promise to be the bestest little girlie in the whole wide world! So far I've shown FM that I can wee on the wee wee pads. I'm not so great on the leash yet, but I'm a fast learner! FM is gonna write some more about me when she gets to know me better. PLEASE NOTE: Because of Sofi's size, she can ONLY be adopted into an adult home. NO CHILDREN!
