My story

Meet Awesome Wilson - My name is Wilson, I am a 9 mos old pup. I may look like your everyday black lab mix but my foster Mom and family say I am the sweetest, well behaved and yet very entertaining pup ever! Everyone that comes here just loves me. Did I tell you how Awesome I am ? Everyone says I am just a sweet gentle soul!
I am on the smaller side - I weigh about 35 pounds and will probably will not get much bigger.
I have learned to come, sit, wait and lay down pretty well in the short time I’ve been here. I sleep in a crate all night and have not had one accident since I’ve been here in CT. I walk on leash pretty good and I always wait calmly before they put the leash on me. I love all humans, even children of any age and I play really well with other dogs. I also love to play fetch and retrieve!
My Foster Mom has plenty of chew toys around for me. I will race around the yard jumping and playing, but I am very happy just laying down and chilling with my fur and human foster family. I sometimes try to sneak up in my foster’s laps, sometimes they let me and sometimes they make me stay down and pet me, which I am perfectly happy with I just love to cuddle. My foster Mom says once you meet me you won’t want to leave without me! Please consider me as your adoption companion, I promise I won’t disappoint you!

Wilson was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. He is neutered, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, house and crate trained. If you are interested in Wilson - please email SHERRYL825@cox.net for more information or an application.
