My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I was turned into the city shelter because I got too big for my owner. Since I was an owner turn in, I was taken to the back to be put to sleep. Luckily, someone saw what a beautiful young man I was and put a hold on me which gave me a few hours to find someone to get me out of there. My foster mom saw a picture of me and came and rescued me! I am now safe in her foster home surrounded by other dogs and a large backyard. She says that I am a sweetheart who truly doesn't realize I am as big as I am! I currently weigh 93 lbs but act like I am a 40 lb dog! I love to play fetch and also love to carry toys around in my mouth to show you. I have been around kids and did wonderfully. I know not to jump up on them since they are smaller than me! I know the sit command and walk pretty well on a leash for such a big boy! I am completely crate trained and housebroken. My foster mom says that I have the softest fur that doesn't seem to shed too much. I am patiently waiting for someone to come take a look at me soon!

All of our dogs are required to be inside pets only. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, home visit, and 5 day sleepover.
