My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nick is a happy boy, very affectionate, wonderful companion. Nick is a large white male greyhound with some brindle and fawn markings. He is six years old. He was given away by one of the Mass. tracks to a family, and was not placed through a group. He was never neutered, and spent most of his time tied outside, along with another greyhound, possibly for more than 3 years. The situation became urgent, and we learned that neighbors were very concerned for their welfare. We did find out that it was true they were tied outside, and their "shelter" was a board to crawl under. They were released by the owners, and GAC took Nick. They were not in as bad shape as we feared, and their personalities are exceptional. Nick is now neutered and had his teeth cleaned, and none had to be extracted. He is being fostered here with me and the other dogs. He gets along great with everybody. He runs free around the fenced yard, never again will he be tied up. He is loving, sweet, and just wants to have somebody love him back. He LOVES to eat. He has a healed broken leg from his racing days, and has had a tail break that doesn't seem to bother him. He will be cat tested. GAC wants whoever who decides to adopt Nick to be extra special, to always hold and hug him, keep him inside on a warm bed, and feed him good food and enough of it. We are so lucky he came our way.
